The value for money at this place was unbeatable! The room was well-appointed, with a functional apartment overlooking the beach. The beds were excellent and the roomy balcony was a great addition. The private staircase down to the beach was a bonus, and we were pleasantly surprised that we couldn't hear any noise from the famous Italian restaurant Enrico nearby. The shaded parking under a tree was a nice touch. We also loved the proximity to two great breakfast places, Mel's and Thyme & Rhyme. Lastly, the top suite, Carol, was worth the little extra cost, providing breathtaking views and a memorable experience.

I keep coming back to this amazing place for my stay because it has everything I need. The staff even helped me with currency exchange recommendations. Free Wi-Fi, parking, A/C, laundry, hiking, beach access, and more make this the perfect spot for New Year!

Stayed at 'Melkhout' for a few days and it was an absolute delight. The view from the room and balcony were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. Watching dolphins swim past and a lightning storm from the balcony were incredible experiences. The location right on the beach was perfect, and we enjoyed strolling along the clean and quiet shoreline. The comfortable bed, spacious unit, and well-equipped accommodation made our stay even more enjoyable.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

Fantastic ocean view from top floor Carol Suite with dolphin sightings and bioluminescence every night. Magnificent view from the balcony and bedroom. Perfect location with access to a nearly private beach. Friendly and attentive staff, even arranged late check-in. Convenient and reasonably priced laundry service available. Inverter to tackle load shedding. Beach location perfect for dining at Enrico's and hiking to Arch Rock. Quiet and intimate, but with nearby homes and people for security.

Comfy bed, blackout curtains, perfect beach view. Well-equipped kitchen/lounge. Everything new, big air conditioner. Spotlessly clean suite. Terrace to relax and watch the ocean. Seals playing, potential dolphin sightings. Access to beach, enjoyable walks. Nearby restaurant. Relaxing experience, hope to return. Proximity to bay and whale watching. Helpful staff, even at odd hours. Great location for beach and Garden Route activities. Not a traditional resort but excellent accommodation on the beach.

Gorgeous view of the sea! the location was perfect, right on the beach. We were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming past every day, and there were also a variety of birds and a seal! the accommodation was excellent and had everything we needed. the beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless. the best part was the view from the lounge/patio, it was absolutely stunning. Plus, the beach was incredibly clean, not a single piece of rubbish in sight!
No service over the weekend was a bit of a letdown. It was raining and all our towels were wet, but there was no option to replace them or dry them as the air conditioning wasn't working well.

Our stay at Archrock Resort was truly exceptional! The value for money was unbeatable, and the room itself was absolutely stunning with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The location was perfect, with easy access to a beautiful beach. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to spot whales and dolphins right from our room balcony. Communication with the host, Wilma, was excellent, and the self-check in process was a breeze. We had such a fantastic time that we wish we could have stayed longer!
The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was a wider variety of options.

The location of the resort is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful beach and rock formations right at your doorstep. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with well-appointed kitchens and BBQ facilities. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean every morning, with the chance to spot whales and dolphins. the staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.
The living room couches could use an update, as they are a bit dated and not as comfortable as one would expect.

The Perfect View: From the private balcony in our unit, we were treated to breathtaking panoramic sea views that made us feel like we were on the edge of the world. It was like having a front-row seat to nature's very own IMAX show!

The rooms at Archrock Resort are so cozy and comfortable. I loved the small lounge area in the ground floor units, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The private balconies in the rooms are a great addition. It was lovely to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while taking in the beautiful views. Having a kitchen and a dining area in the unit was so convenient. It made it easy for me to prepare meals and enjoy them at my own pace.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the small bathrooms. But hey, that's just me.

The studio apartment had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a balcony with a grill. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch. The shower was spacious and the room felt very well thought out. The highlight was definitely being able to wake up in bed and look out at the ocean. Highly recommend this beach destination.
